RED ROVER
Red Rover is an innovative Web service that strives to help students connect and contribute to their college campus—opening new doors of opportunity and creating and strong sense of community. AHPR will work with Red Rover to drive adoption and usage by colleges across the country through extensive research on current student/campus relations, and by gathering feedback from students on what would help them better connect with their peers and their school. AHPR’s main goal is to introduce the Web site to students at the University of Oregon and have it become the main communication tool and directory for students, administration and campus organizations. Red Rover not only helps students connect with those in their same year, major and residence hall, but assists in finding campus groups and clubs for students to join based on their interests. Through Red Rover, colleges can reach out and suggest groups and activities specifically tailored toward each student’s individual personality and needs, enhancing a student’s college experience and creating a stronger, closer campus community.

MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY ASSOCIATION
Each year, AHPR’s staff helps The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) put on its annual benefit dinner auction and golf classic, headlined by University of Oregon’s Athletic Director Mike Bellotti. AHPR creates the invitations, informational pieces and programs for each event. Our staff also contacts media in the area to promote the dinner auction and golf classic, and will volunteer at the event as well. This year the theme of the dinner auction is an Ultimate Tailgate Party. MDA is one of AHPR’s longest standing clients and is among the most well known non-profit organizations in Eugene. The dinner auction and golf classic draw members of the University of Oregon and Eugene community to raise funds for MDA. These funds provide the opportunity for children suffering from neuromuscular diseases to attend the annual MDA summer camp in Springfield, OR.
